Gaming Zebra is a small, independent editorial platform built around one idea: understanding games should be as accessible as playing them.
Gaming Zebra came out of a simple frustration: most gaming content online is either too shallow or too specialized. Review sites tell you what score a game got. YouTube channels assume you're already deep in a community. Forums reward those who already know the vocabulary.
There wasn't much written for the person who just wanted to understand things clearly — the mechanics behind a system they kept bumping into, the history of a genre they were new to, or an honest explanation of how online play actually works.
So we built it. Gaming Zebra launched as a place where that kind of content could live: editorial, factual, and written for readers who care about understanding more than they care about keeping up.
We research before we publish. Claims about game systems are verified, and we correct errors when they're found. No filler content.
We're clear about what we are: an informational site. No affiliate links on recommended games, no paid placements, no engagement tricks.
We write for people who are newer to gaming or new to a topic within gaming. Jargon is explained when it's used, not assumed.
We don't hype games or tear them down. We describe what they do, explain how they work, and let the reader draw their own conclusions.
We take reader feedback seriously. If you spot an error, have a topic suggestion, or just want to reach out, our contact form is always open.
